So, almost a year ago, I started listening to a podcast called “From The Heart: Conversations with Yoga Girl” on my way to and from places while driving. Rachel Brathen, aka Yoga Girl, is the voice behind the podcast and is someone who I have been following for quite some time now. She is full of insight and I just relate to her a lot in a lot of ways.
Anyways, the second episode of her podcast was all about manifesting abundance and how the energy that you give off is the energy that you attract. After listening to that episode, I decided to try and manifest my own abundance. I had this thought in my head that if I said I wanted something, I would get it. It’s basically like the Law of Attraction, which I learned about years ago but never gave it a real try until recently. I have tried to think positively and I have tried to manifest positive vibes in my life for months now and ITS WORKING! When I first tried this, I was pregnant. I had applied to nursing school in June and had just been telling myself that I got in and that I was accepted. Turns out, as I was 9 months pregnant and on my last day of work before maternity leave, I get a call in the middle of my shift. Guess who? Yep, it was my nursing school saying that I HAD GOTTEN IN! I couldn’t believe it! Now, I know some may say it was just a coincidence or I would have gotten in either way, but its kind of hard to NOT believe it when it worked just like that! Since then, I have tried to use this theory of positive thinking in every aspect of my life and great things have happened since then. The most recent being a business opportunity that literally fell into my lap and I am so excited to tell you all about it! *Details to come in a later blog post*
As more and more of these opportunities and positive things kept happening in my life, I couldn’t help but think that I have created them with my outlook. Sure, there are days where I am, most certainly, not positive and sure, there are days where I feel like nothing is going my way. BUT, for the most part, I feel like this has been a positive change in my life and I just can’t help but share it! Now this isn’t to say that I don’t have faith also, because I do. I just think that adding this positive thinking to your life can help make a big impact. With that being said, I can’t wait to see what else falls into my lap and how else I can improve my life using this positive thinking. So, the next time you really want something or really need some good in your life, try to remember: Be the energy you want to attract. It may just change your life!
Until next time…
